My sweet mother-in-law outfitted us for my office Christmas party. Yes, those are skiing bears on my turtleneck!
Happy Friday! Today my sweet sister Cally
is “wrapping” up the week with a little Christmas wrapping fun. Here’s Cally!
It is crazy to tell you that Christmas is officially only nine days away, which means that it’s time to finish shopping and start wrapping! I LOVE wrapping presents and making each one just right. I learned how to make big bows for packages by intently watching the ladies at a local shop meticulously prepare each gift that was purchased. Every year on Christmas Eve, my dad would employ me to wrap his gifts, which meant that I would get a sneak peek! So, I wanted to show you some of my favorite wrapping tricks and ideas to help us all get ready for Christmas!
I spent far too long choosing two wrapping paper rolls at TJ Maxx last weekend, but now all my gifts need bows! They look naked under the tree!
Only Martha Stewart could make brown craft paper look this good! I love the trimmings!
So cute! My grandmother is famous for attaching small ornaments or trinkets to the ribbon on presents.
The tags are also important to the gifts. Elizabeth and Bernie are famous for writing “Holiday Haikus” on their gifts. The easiest way to tag a gift is by cutting out a specific image from the same wrapping paper…I love my PEACE snowman!
Trader Joe’s helped me out with some gift tags this year. It is a great way to recycle your grocery bags!
It is so exciting to get everything under the tree and ready to be unwrapped. Share your best wrapping tricks in the comments so that we can all get started this weekend!
