It’s not even December 1st yet and my heart is already in need of some quieting as we head into Christmas. I know I sound like a broken record, but there is always SO much to do, especially this time of year. I was so proud of myself for ordering Christmas cards for the first time ever weeks before Thanksgiving, but then I forgot about that whole address thing. Shopping I can do, addressing them is another story! I attempted to start while watching Elf, but fell asleep before Buddy even made it to NYC. Hopefully they’ll be mailed by New Year’s!
So I was encouraged and grateful this morning when I hopped on my friend Caroline’s blog, Growing in Grace, where she talked about Christmas music that prepares our hearts and minds as we remember God’s gift to us this season.
Then I heard this, and for 3 minutes and 3 seconds, my heart was quiet:
