Deuteronomy 30:20 (NIV)
Right now, I’m reading a book called Praying God’s Word by Beth Moore. The book leads you through different spiritual strongholds like pride, idolatry, rejection, despair, and depression. Each chapter equips you with tons of scripture so you can pray against the strongholds. It’s a great reference book filled with really useful scripture.
Deuteronomy 30:20 is one of the verses that I prayed at the beginning of the book. Taken from the same chapter as yesterday’s verse, this is a great scripture for us to pray daily as we seek to love the Lord.
Lord, I choose you! You are my life. In you, I want to live, move, and breathe. I pray that I will have a heart dedicated to loving you. Lord, I want to listen to you and with all that I am I want to cling to you. I pray that as I continue to love you more, my heart will come alive in you.
