Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Joyous Epiphany! The picture above is our Christmas tree, still fully lit and glowing. Why the rush to take them down? I say keep it up as long as possible!
So much has happened since Dec 25th and God has faithfully led us into 2010! Most of you know I’m kind of addicted to reading blogs, so I wanted to share some links that you might want to consider perusing in all of the spare time I’m sure you have…
- This post from Sara Hagerty helped remind me why I started this blog in the first place…to fall head over heels in love with our God.
- Throughout Advent, our pastor in DC, Tommy Hinson, has been preaching a series on the “Maculate Mothers of Christ” and studying the women in the lineage of Christ. It has been an incredible series and Tommy has painted a beautiful picture of the purpose, meaning, and redemption behind each woman mentioned in chapter 1 of Matthew and how it help herald the arrival of Christ.
Listening to a sermon this weekend might not have been on your agenda, but if you have some free time and want to be enlightened by God’s truth and restoration, I highly recommend it! You can also try listening to them as some catchy background noise at the office…I’m sure your coworkers will LOVE it!
- Still can’t get over singing Christmas carols? My friend Danielle and her boyfriend Ryan recorded an incredible CD that’s a must listen–even in January!
