Happy Monday! I hope you had a fabulous weekend–I’ve missed you!
Lately, in my corner of the world, the past few weeks have been pretty tough–it’s been an overwhelming and draining season–physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
I could sit here and list out all the things that keep popping up just as I think I’m about to be lifted out of the fog, but the reality is, we ALL have our stuff–we all have our struggles; we all walk through seasons that, for one reason or another, are more difficult than others–sometimes, it’s just part of life.
I’m sure there are plenty of us who could talk about the difficulties we’re facing right now; life just isn’t always easy.
And as I’ve been walking through my personal version of “survival mode,” here’s one thing I’m learning: no matter what, God does not leave me.
That’s definitely a theme that I talk about a lot, but it’s one I can’t seem to get enough of. It’s also one I seem to have to learn over and over again.
Things you planned on, don’t always work out.
Things that felt certain, can sometimes fall through.
Dreams, expectations, and visions you may have had in your head, can suddenly come to a crashing halt, causing you to ask, “Why?” or “What now?”
Yet in the midst of disappointment and loss; in the midst of our weakest moments where we don’t know how to move forward; God is still with us–carrying, supporting, and uplifting us.
When we feel like we can’t take the next step forward, it’s God who gives us the strength to keep on going.
When you feel weak, crippled, or stuck in the pit, Lean. In. To. God. Look to Him and trust Him when He says that He’s with you and He will carry you out.
When you don’t know what to do, wait while I open the way before you. Trust that I know what I’m doing, and be ready to follow My lead. I will give strength to you, and I will bless you with Peace.
Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
