Graciousness of Uncertainty

Babies’ First Foxfield

Happy Monday!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend!  Little B had a big weekend–his first Foxfield!  I can’t say I ever imagined I’d be bringing a baby to Foxfield, but he did great!

As most of you know, it’s no secret that I love me some Jesus Calling.  If I only have two minutes in my day to pause, Jesus Calling offers me the perfect exhale.  I’ve been loving it so much, I almost forgot about another fabulous devotional: My Utmost For His Highest.  Since it’s been a while, I thought I’d share a little excerpt from this morning on the “Graciousness of Uncertainty:”

To be certain of God means that we are uncertain in all our ways, we do not know what a day may bring forth. This is generally said with a sigh of sadness, it should be rather an expression of breathless expectation. We are uncertain of the next step, but we are certain of God…Leave the whole thing to Him, it is gloriously uncertain how He will come in, but He will come. Remain loyal to Him.
