Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a great week! Below are a few favorites to send you into the weekend:
Two of my favorite blogs have collided! (I love when that happens) Jay Wolf from Hope Heals has a guest post at Every Bitter Thing Is Sweet. It is a must-read. All month, Sara has been featuring guest posters who have all been amazing! Check them all out over here.
Nester has a great post for those who may be settling into a new house or undergoing some renovations: How Having One Decent Space Makes All The Difference.
Lincee posted these 16 Takeaways from Arianna Huffington from a recent blogging conference she attended.
I was cruising around Pinterest yesterday and found these great ideas for simple hostess gifts from WeddingChicks.com.
Here’s a little something that just may change your life. I’m so embarrassed to admit this, but I can NEVER remember which side of the car my gas tank is on, until my sister Abby enlightened me that most (not all) cars have a little symbol or arrow to point to the side of the car with the gas tank. Say goodbye to pulling up to the gas station, getting out of the car, and then embarrassingly hopping back in and turning your car around, or maybe that’s just me…
Seriously, mind blow. Life changed.
I LOVE Pandora stations and catering stations to my likes and dislikes. I get such a kick out of pressing the “thumbs up” and “thumbs down” buttons. (It’s the little things, you know?!) Without question, one of my all time favorite stations is Bon Iver. I started listening to it before I even knew who Bon Iver was, but I’m telling you it’s great–calming, relaxing, and does a perfect job of setting a peaceful mood without putting you to sleep. Definitely worth adding to your stations. I especially LOVE listening to it when I’m working from home, or at the end of the day when I’m cleaning the kitchen after dinner, winding down from the day.
Another Pandora favorite? Cole Porter! Think “MIdnight in Paris” soundtrack. This is my favorite soundtrack for cooking or hosting dinner parties.
That’s all for this week. Have a great weekend!
