Happy Friday! My first “Minnesota Friday Favorites”…one down, nine to go, but who’s counting?
I loved Trish’s post on the Changing Seasons blog about how watching Bridesmaids encouraged her to relax (sans sedatives and alcohol).
This post from Beth Moore was a perfect read for me. She references the NET version of Psalm 55:22 that says, “Throw your burden upon the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the godly to be upended.” How’s that for a translation?! I think we could all use some throwing off of the burdens, don’t you?
My cousin Barbara wrote a hilariously honest post on Miss Wiggy–it even includes a Bridget Jones reference, which I adore.
I found Katherine Wolf’s post on Celebrating Imperfections Over Burgers And Fries to be simple, honest, and refreshing. I just love her outlook on life.
And is anyone out there waiting for Mr. Wonderful aka Boaz? This post on Waiting for Boaz from Lincee is hilarious!

Last night, yours truly, a diehard carnivore, make a delicious veggie dish with tofu, mushrooms, and bok choy. Check out the recipe here.
While perusing Pinterest the other day, I stumbled upon this: 17 tips to make your life easier. Check it out, there are some fabulous, simplifying tips!
And lastly, I just have to say that I’m currently LOVING G-Mail’s video chat. This week I was able to have yet another quality video chat with my sweet nieces and I even got to catch up with a dear friend who was in India for work–how cool is that?!
Have a fabulous weekend!!
