Friday Favorites 4.4.14

Happy Friday!!  I hope you have had a wonderful week!!  Who else is ready for the weekend?!

First off, I would be remiss if I didn’t wish my younger sister Cally, one of my most favorites in the world, a very happy birthday!!  I’m blessed to have not one, but THREE incredible sisters and Cally is no exception.

She is a fun, beautiful, stylish, amazing, selfless, incredibly thoughtful girl with great hair and beautiful skin.  Not only is she the blog’s #1 editor, a great resource for cosmetic tips and free beauty samples, but she’s also a faithful phone companion–at 8:30 am on the dot, like clock work, Cally rings in and I walk her to work.  I love routines like these because they make me feel like she’s part of my daily life, even though she’s far away.  It’s crazy that I used to walk her to class in college, now I walk her to work, and next year, I’ll walk her to business school.  This baby girl is growing up beautifully.  Happy birthday, Cally!!

Okay, on to some links…

It’s no secret I often wish life were a musical.  (One in which we could all sing like Idina Menzel)  So I just loved seeing the cast of the Lion King break into song on an airplane:
