Happy Friday! Hope y’all have had a great week! Here are a few fun things to send you into the weekend:
Nester has a great post on (in)courage on Leaving Room for the Unexpected.
Looking to quiet down a bit? Check out this post from The Inspired Room on A Simple Life.
Let’s talk about Stich Fix…I mentioned it a few years ago, when they were just getting started. The other day, I got an email that said I had some credit, so I decided to give it another shot. Basically, you pay $20 for a personally styled box of fun tops, jewelry, and dresses that arrives at your door. Try it on, keep what you like and send back what you don’t. (The $20 fee goes towards any purchase!)
Y’all, I loved it! Who wouldn’t want a box of clothes hand-picked especially for them to arrive at their door?!
No, I’m not keeping them all, but at a season in my life where I’m not bouncing in and out of dressing rooms, trying on clothes (really, does anyone have time to do that?!), it is so much FUN to have the clothes come to you! You should try it and then get your friends to try it. And when they do, you get $25 in credit! Get your first fix here.
And now, let’s talk recipes:
A friend sent me a link to a stuffed shells recipe that looked delicious!
But here is what I’m LOVING this summer: a simple, fresh, Greek salad.
- Head to the Farmer’s market and pick up heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onion.
- Throw in some feta cheese, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt and pepper, and you’ll be set!
We have literally made that five nights in a row and I fully intend to keep the streak going!
Have a great weekend!!
