Friday Faves: Christmas Gift Guide

So I know that Christmas is NOT all about presents.  But let’s face it, this month, most of us will purchase a gift, or two, or fifty.  So in an attempt to make things a little easier for you, here are some of my most favorite gift ideas:

Scout Coolers
I’ve always loved Scout bags, but have just recently fallen in love with their coolers.  Isn’t this cute?  We might not always win football games, but at least we can tailgate in style!  This cooler is a great size for a day trip, or for carrying a few bottles of wine.

Lollia hand lotion is one of my all time favorite treats.  Each scent is a refreshing luxury and the lotion is just perfect for dry wintery hands.  With mini bottles starting at $7.50 they make great stocking stuffers or hostess gifts.  They’ve also just released a new candle line and shower gels that are divine!

I recently discovered Hen House Linens that specializes in creating beautiful, practical linens for every day living.  How cute and fun are these pot holders?  With all kinds of great patterns, it’s fun to mix and match.  I’m also obsessed with their hostess aprons.
If you’re looking to give a book, my two favorites from 2011 have been Jesus Calling and One Thousand Gifts.  Both of which I’ve mentioned here or here.
And you can never go wrong with the Pioneer Woman Cooks.  Her cookbook is fun, visually appealing, and absolutely delicious!
As for the men in your life?  Well, in my opinion, they’re not nearly as much fun to shop for!  One thing Bernie can count on every year is a pair of Bonobos pants.  We LOVE them.  He thinks they’re comfortable and I like the view from behindit’s a win, win!  Their site has been having some problems after Cyber Monday, but they’re worth the wait.  They are the greatest company.  AND right now, I think they’re having some bargains: if you’re a new customer, use the code FIRST50 to get $50 off a $100 purchase, or ButterySoft for 20% off your order.  You’re welcome!
